In 2016, Mov’in Bed - The Outdoor Bed Cinema was bringing a summer breeze to the Aussie cinema industry with a unique bed-under-the stars cinema concept. This award winning cinema (Best new event 2016 - Concrete Playground Awards) has since become one of the best outdoor cinemas in Australia. Set for another national tour, Movin' Bed has still more surprises up its sleeve.
MOV'IN CAR - DRIVE-IN CINEMA
Early 2020, Mov’in Bed pivoted to Mov'In Car, the Drive-in Cinema experience. The event was launched in Sydney and Canberra, leading our drive-in event to become the country’s first COVID-compliant event. Today, Movin' Car is all about a way to reconcile social distancing and outdoor entertainment, bringing people enjoyment when it's most needed.
MOV'IN BOAT - FLOATING CINEMA
Yes, we took over the Harbour City with a floating cinema experience like no other in the world. Conveniently-placed at the centre of Cockle Bay, between the ICC and Darling Harbour Marina, this precinct had hosted a spectacular 1000 sqm floating platform, featuring 40 row boats, 80 summer lounge beds & two floating bar experiences. On the shore, the 15 meters full 4K screen and 30 surround speakers had created quite a show.
